BraTober is right around the corner and I want to share how easy and comfortable bralettes and wireless bras are to make and wear. Let's make bralettes and bottoms (matching panty) all month and ease into the holidays. BraTober 2022 begins Friday October 7th until the 28th featuring weekly prompts and each Friday will host a sew-along from 6pm-8pm (est). Join however you like, make and showcase your own bralettes and bottoms, wireless bra and register for the Friday sew-alongs for $100 ($20 each Friday) and learn step-by-step instruction on different bralettes and wireless bras.

Beginner bra-making can begin with a bralette!
Bralettes are the most comfortable way to wear a bra. Yes, you can add a little support to a bralette, but do not expect full support as with a wired bra. Bralettes are designed for soft comfy, knit fabrics and stretch laces. They are also designed giving you flexibility to create your own style.
BRALETTE FABRICS:
Cotton Spandex, Cotton Jersey Knit, Swim Fabrics, Spandex, Stretch Mesh, any stretch knit fabrics. To add additional support to the cups, consider adding power mesh/net to the cup as a lining.
PANTY FABRICS:
Cotton knit, Cotton Jersey, Nylon Tricot (stretch), Stretch Mesh (various weights depending on preference)

Friday Sew-alongs
Every Friday October 7 until the 28th...7pm - 9pm (est)
Featuring a different bralette or wireless bra every Friday - and make whatever bralette or wireless bra and matching panty you like during this time. Sew-Along is registration is $20 per week/ $100 for the month and includes live Q&A, review of featured patterns, and access to video instruction for each. All sew-along participants will receive a complimentary BJs Bralette Pattern.
